Henning Sørgaard's first exhibition in Zuoz gathers grey monochromes made for the winter light. The senior figure of the gallery's programme, Sørgaard scrapes and erases his surfaces until they hold the season's pallor.
The paintings ask for the long looking the mountains permit. Worked by removal as much as by application, they register the slow accumulation of attention, quiet surfaces set against the cold.
