Adaeze Okonkwo returns to Zürich with new stitched works in raw linen, the indigo worked nearly to black. The exhibition considers cloth as a keeper of labour and of time, each seam a record of the hand that made it.
Hung close to the wall and lit low, the pieces ask to be read slowly. Okonkwo treats darning and repair as a language in their own right, holding what is mended as carefully as what is whole.
