Yuki Tanabe's first Zuoz exhibition presents ash-glazed, wood-fired forms that incline rather than stand upright. The title names a posture: bodies caught mid-tilt, held at the point before rest or fall.
Fired over days and marked by the kiln, the forms carry their making as surface. Tanabe sets them down sparely in the winter rooms, each leaning shape a study in weight and the wish to be held.
