Pieter Vos's first solo exhibition with the gallery gathers cast body fragments in concrete and lead. Partial and weighted, the works hold the figure as a series of survivals: a hand, a torso, a limb set down on the plinth.
Vos casts what remains rather than what is whole. The fragments carry the heaviness of their materials and the quiet of the morgue and the museum alike, the body recognised precisely in its incompleteness.
