Jonas Reinhardt's first solo with the gallery presents hard-edge paintings in grey, built on the single event of the line that divides one field from another. Division takes its method as its title.
Reinhardt admits no gesture beyond the boundary. The paintings hold their structure flatly and without sheen, proposing that the meeting of two fields is sufficient, that division is itself a kind of form.
