Cold Light

For the winter season in Zuoz, the gallery brings together four artists whose work attends to diminished light and the long interior. Paintings by Liv Dahl and Henning Sørgaard hang alongside photographs by Beatrice Aerni and ceramics by Yuki Tanabe.

The exhibition makes no argument beyond a shared temperature. Across paint, silver gelatin and fired clay, the works hold still in the short days, registering cold as a condition of looking rather than a subject to be described.
